My Reading List in 2011

Today is the last day of 2011.  To me, it has been a busy year.  I traveled extensively to various countries in Northeast Asia for meetings as well as to visit my customers and suppliers.  I also launch my first Chinese book, "无限的财富" in November.  Thanks to all my readers.

Despite of busy schedule, I never forget to read.  I normally read books 1 hour before bed time and, by doing so, it really creates a peace of mind to me after a day of hard work.  Here, I would like to share with my fellow readers about what I have been reading in 2011:


ENGLISH TITLES:

1. This book shares very daring ideas to have more time to do what you like without quitting your full-time job.  But I wonder how many of us can really follow his ideas fully.  Anyhow, it is still worth to read and start to practice some suggestion, if not all.

2. We have been seeing people driving big cars, living in houses, wearing branded outfits.  But accept the fact that they might not as rich as you think.  This book reveals the truth.

3. This book discusses about how the education system should be in order to make our kids and us live happily.  Great book.

4. Another good book to show us to to regain the control of our time.

5. This book thoroughly discussed about Warren Buffett investment style.  Rather technical as it involves some financial and mathematical calculation.  Those who like figures and want to know more how Warren make his investment decision, this is the book.

一、当生活欺骗了你：
 讲述了生活中的许多所谓的自然定律其实是蒙蔽了我们的双眼。

二、冥想：
此书是在教导我们如何通过冥想来放松自己。

三、股票投资正道：
一本由本地资深投资家，冷眼，的著作。读了他的书，你更定会对你的股票投资深信不疑。

四、别相信任何人：
一本翻译小说。说的是一个失忆的女人如何通过一位医生的建议来恢复记忆从而发现了她那不可思议的过去。

五、减生活简生活：
一本教导你如何通过放弃来获得真正的快乐。

六、稳赚大马股市：
一本本地著作。此书是教导技术分析。但我本人觉得并不是非常实用。看看无妨。

七、30年后，你拿什么养活自己：
此书的标题勾起了我极大的兴趣。但是才看了前面两章，我决定不再看下去。这是一本叫人如何进行财务管理的书籍。与其他相关书籍的内容大同小异。我以将此书拿去再循环了。

八、新 福尔摩斯 之 丝之屋：
一本在今年11月全球同步发行的翻译侦探小说。内容紧凑紧张。我一看便欲罢不能。精彩！

九、饥饿游戏3 之 自由幻梦：
这是饥饿游戏三部曲中的最后一部。与翻译版在今年二月发行。我是在台北买这部小说的。在2010年看完了前两部后，就一直期待它的大结局。它叙述了一位女孩如何被一些她无法控制的情况下与她所爱的人一起努力而最终取得成功。非常紧张刺激。

十、投资大师也会犯的错：
我是在上海的福州路的一间小书局里找到这本书的。它被放在一个极不起眼的角落那儿。历史是一面镜子。此书通过许多国际知名的投资大师的投资失误来警惕投资者。非常值得一读。

十一、战国策：
我中学时就对中国历史产生了极大的兴趣。今年九月在上海工干，晚上有时间便去书局逛逛并找到了这本文言与白话对照的“战国策”。我二话不说便把它买下并花了一个礼拜的时间将它读完。这是我对古人的智慧更加钦服了。

十二、一整年不用钱：
这本书也是在台北买的。作者叙述他是如何再没水没电没钱买食物的情况下生存下来并不花一分钱。佩服佩服！
